Production & Processing Times

At CosplayOra, “processing” includes more than printing a shipping label. Many costumes are assembled or tailored after an order is confirmed. Our workflow combines measurement review, pattern preparation, material cutting, sewing, finishing, quality control and packing.

Typical processing targets

Product category Typical working time before dispatch
Standard-size cosplay costume 7–10 business days
Custom-sized costume 10–20 business days
Standard stretch or bodysuit 5–7 business days
Selected accessories, props and wigs 5–10 business days
In-stock “Ready to Ship” item Typically 10–24 business hours for handling

These are reference production targets. Actual processing times depend on current capacity and product requirements. Actual ranges on an individual product page or in an accepted custom quotation control when different. Weekend, public holiday, peak-season and material constraints can extend estimates.

Standard-size costume workflow

  1. Order and payment confirmation.
  2. Review product choice, size and included components.
  3. Allocate materials and prepare or select the pattern.
  4. Cut the fabric and prepare details.
  5. Sew and assemble the costume.
  6. Add accessories, trims, finishing and required components.
  7. Check key workmanship and product options; pack and release the order for shipment.

Custom-sized costume workflow

  1. Confirm payment and receive the customer’s body measurements.
  2. Review measurements for completeness and potential inconsistencies.
  3. Contact the customer for clarification where important specifications are missing or unusual.
  4. Adjust or prepare a pattern for the agreed measurements, when required by the garment.
  5. Cut, assemble and finish the costume and its selected accessories.
  6. Carry out appropriate quality checks against the agreed order and release the parcel.

A custom order may not enter full production until we receive answers to measurement questions. Please monitor the email address used for your order.

“Processing” versus “Shipped”

If WooCommerce displays Processing, the order may still be in the workshop; no courier has necessarily received it. A tracking number or dispatch message indicates the shipping stage. See Track Your Order.

Multiple items and event deadlines

Orders that ship together generally follow the slowest item’s processing time. If a new design, special material, advanced accessory or unusual custom requirement needs additional work, we will discuss timing as appropriate. When you have an event deadline, contact us before ordering. Express shipping does not, by itself, accelerate production.

Shipping transit is separate from the periods above. See Shipping & Delivery for Basic, Standard and Rush service estimates.
